Lakeview average home prices up 8% during “housing crisis.”

Check out this data that shows the delta in avg sales prices in Chicago neighborhoods from 08 to 09. Pay attention to Lincoln Park and Lakeview where sales remain strong and homeowners are still making gains. According to this data, if you bought a house in Lakeview and Lincoln Park in 1994, you would have made more gains on the Lakeview property over the past 25 years. It looks like a lot of people are buying in Edgewater (455 sales) and who knew Pullman was such a hot place to live!
